Nrama: Can you run through how the reveal and explanation will work as far as your issues go? How much will we understand at the end of Issue #33? After Twilight's reveal, where does the story go?

Meltzer: The reveal is on page 15. And there are some hints of the big picture in Issue #33. But the next issue is where the Buffyverse mythology really comes into play. And that mythology is what I love.

I think it's weird Buffy thinking she's a vampire. It's not like she's drawing power from living slayers...

I'm interested in what Twilight's line: "That's what happens when you get rid of your resident witch...people start seeing the truth." means regarding Willow?

I really love this "Giles never told Buffy" thing. And wow, Buffy and Angel. squee!

^ It's more than weird...it's stupid. Vampires kill people and Buffy is getting power from slayers who have already died...two totally different things. Now if she was sucking their powers and that resulted in their death then maybe.

Another thing I didn't fully get here...when Buffy was questioning whether Twilight was Angel or Angelus he said "And don't think I'm Angelus either. I'm me. And you know I'm me. I know you feel it." Why would Buffy now feel it? And if she did, then why didn't she feel it way back when she first came face to face with Twilight?

Well maybe it's the same way that Angel got his powers before Buffy did?

I agree that the vampire analogy is ridiculous, but I can see Buffy going there, since she deals so much with vampires.

I feel a bit whiplashed. Twilight was the Big Bad for the whole season, and now Angel gives one page of explanation for his actions, and Buffy's over it? I usually think these comics move a bit slowly, but that seemed really rushed. I did like the artwork depiction of Angel.

And hey, Angel doesn't get to talk about women glowing, that's Spike's thing! 🙂

Andrew did make me laugh, with his ten-geek-references-in-one costume. It doesn't seem like either he or Warren have much point anymore in the comics, but he does add comic relief.
