Well-known reviewer and blogger MarkWatches started watching "Buffy"

His reviews are usually very well-written (he reviewed Firefly recently, and I enjoyed his reviews a lot) and he has already written in a comment that the interest to BtVS on his blog is so big it was temporarily not working because of the amount of traffic.

I'm always thrilled when a new well-known reviewer discovers BtVS.

The comments to the review of the first episode are worth reading too: Mark's readers share their Buffy experiences. He has a strict "no spoiler" policy, so be careful in comments (if you plan to comment).

Great read. I love "sharing" the Buffy experience with new viewers. Im happy that he seems to be enjoying it and not just writing it off because it is so old school.

Oh...I so love this: "Everyone really wants to make decisions for Buffy, don't they? ... Also, Angel is buff and such, so why isn't he helping out? I seriously don't get who he is and why he only acts as a really shitty and vague informant. WHO ARE YOU ANGEL."

I love Mark's reviews. I think I started reading the Twilight ones which were funny, and then read all of his Harry Potter ones. It was wonderful to re-live Harry Potter through someone reading it for the first time and so I've been SUPER excited for him to start reviewing Buffy.
