I voted for Goodbye to You by Michelle Branch because the lyrics of the song suit the situation at the end of the episode where everyone says goodbye to giles and Tara leaves so its a sort of goodbye to her.

I loved the two Sarah McLauchlin songs too, I thought both worked well.

I choose Full Of Grace..some reason I just really like that song, I think it really fit with the story line.

I wanted to choose Wild Horses and Goodbye to You aswell as I like them too and they fitted with the story line aswell.

Those choices are insanely hard to choose from! I chose Full Of Grace because that song just tears at my heart but
Goodbye To You
Wild Horses
Out Of Control
Early One Morning
those were all really equally powerfull in thier own different ways...

Angelic Slayer
Angelic Slayer
I picked Wild Horses, thought it was really powerful too
I had to go with Blue by Angie Hart because the song was written for the episode and it worked so well. But Prayer of St. Francis, Goodbye to You, and Full of Grace take a three way tie for second.

These two because I can pretty much remember every moment of the scene by singing the song in my head. They only stick with me if they're slow or sad:

Full of Grace: Buffy leaves Sunnydale -- The Becoming 2
Blue: The song from Conversation With Dead People

Full of Grace added to the devasting effect of Buffy "killing" Angel. Made me wanna cry.

wild horses was crazy...the music chooser of eps knows what they doin...the only show that makes better use of music is cowboy bebop...i think allot of american shows underestimate the impact of music...they usually always use stock shiz...but if they ever think of something original that cinergizes with the situation...then its magic my friend....

I voted the song in CWDP because it was played nearly all though the ep lol and it was really cool at the end when buffy staked the vamp, thought that was cool lol

Can anyone think of any songs that should have been on the list, but were missed?

Also-- it's driving me crazy. What was the name of that song in back of the Buffy as Ho, with Parker scene. I hate the whole Parker/Buffy thing so I don't have any of those episodes on tape. I do remember it was a good song though.

had to be Full Of Grace, it summed up the Season Finale in one, every time I watch the ending to season two, the hairs on the back of me neck stand on air... such a beautiful song and a well shot scene to accompany the song... 🙂

Goodbye to You.
Or I dunno if this counts, Robert Duncan's score in 'Chosen' where Buffy says 'Get out of my Face!'

Robert Duncan's score in 'Chosen' where Buffy says 'Get out of my Face!'

What a cool coincidence. I just now finished watching Chosen, and my ears were grabbed by that exact same spot in the soundtrack. It's mindblowing music, isn't it?

The soundtrack of Season 7 in general doesn't get enough attention. How did they ever miss it for Emmy attention. It's positively cinematic. Remember the soundtrack for the Uber Vamp battle scenes? I don't know why, but it always reminded me of Terminator 2.

I picked Bif Nakeds song played when parker and buffys one night stand......but i like the one when they were dancing....lucky....one of my fav songs from buffy music.

I finally remembered the name of that Bif Naked Song. It's We Are the Lucky Ones.

I just downloaded it. It really is a great tune, especially the last part where it goes orgasmic. The next time that episode comes around in reruns I'm going to tape the last five minutes.

Hey, I just got what I think is a brainstorm.

Someone should put together a giant charity concert of Buffy Music in a major concert centre, in a major city. It could have all the heavy orchestra stuff like the Buffy/Angel theme, Battle for the Hellmouth, Angel (Catharsis of Sufference), but in between the heavy stuff, Bif Naked would come out to do their song, or Four Star Mary, or Angie Hart, or Michelle Branch, or Sarah Mclachlan, or Nerf Herder, or Bush and in the background on that humungous teletron thing (or whatever it's called) would be scenes from Buffy.

No-one thinks of doing this, because anyone who would organize such an event thinks, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer music? Who would come?"

I think they underestimate us. I think it woud be a case of, if they built it, we would come.

And wouldn't it be amazing?

Gotta make a correction. The Bush song from Dead Things is Out of this World, not Out of Control. Oops.

i loved wild horses, the best song ever, and the Goodbye to You was really appropriate as well, they choose music that rippes your heart out!
