Kennedy was originally betrothed to one of her Deepscan colleges, but her fiance was killed by Harth and the Mayor. Willow goes to relay the bad news to Kennedy, who has just confirmed that she is pregnant from donor insemination. Willow stays with Kennedy during her grieving process, and when she rejoins the Scoobies for the final fight against Harth and his army, Willow tells Buffy that she has proposed to Kennedy. One of the epilogue panels shows their wedding ceremony.

Is this the finale of the comics? Wow, talk about anti-climactic... I can't believe that whedon would put Willow with someone 90 percent of the fandom hates. Oh wait, considering it's whedon, yeah I can believe it...

I just looked it up... I'm surprised it wasn't a spuffy ending for Buffy . They kept it neutral. As always, I'm hardcore bangel but I think this may have been the best way to end Buffy's story so as to prevent an all out war in the fandom.

I'm slightly disturbed by Xander and Dawn's relationship. Not because of the age difference though. I know that dawn matures a lot in the comics and I would've preferred them find someone new for her. As for Xander, I can only see him with Anya.

Speaking of, I was hoping that both Tara and Anya would somehow return . Its just, I can't see anyone else with Willow and Xander. So this is quite sad for me.

I thought the reasons Tara was dead were pretty solid. Spike acquired the Dragon Balls and used them to wish for a soul and Buffy's panties, so they have to recharge.
