The Xander/Anya Award - For BB's funniest member (please submit a post/thread from them)

Please no nominations for me this year. I appreciate the thought but at the time I was distancing myself from the board (before the pandemic struck) when I got alerts to show up and there was some "awards show" and "speeches" with a time limit. I just found the entire thing confusing, unable to keep up with a game I'd never played before, and appears designed for people who watch awards shows for people in Hollywood (which does not include me).

If any want to nominate me again this year for something, please choose someone else who would actually appreciate the fanfare that comes after. Thanks.

Hmmm what to wear this year....

Just been thinking for the latest members over the last year that missed out on The Buffies 2020... basically is an awesome award ceremony on the red carpet and a wonderful shopping thread, well, a what are you wearing to it thread with a big fat party thread afterwards!! It's good fun if you get nominated or not, whether you take part or not is up to you but it's good fun seeing all the shenanigans that happen. I whole heartedly encourage you to join in on the fun, especially with the lockdowns and gloom in the world right now. Oh and there will be baileys (I'll smuggle it in)!!

Makes you wonder though, does that as
nightshade said the bribes should go to her,
then she specified that no bribe meant not getting additional votes.
That was when she stated that she is completely honest that I can adhere to, and also, let it be said (I do, I do) that nightshade is a member of the House of Black Thorn and therefore completely trustworthy. Three cheers for the House of Black Thorn, yup, yup, yup.
Her last sentence states to get your votes in this week, that, of course, applies to the members of the House of Sineya only as us good guys of Black Thorn get extra time to vote.

This sounds like a dorm only thing. I'm new, so could someone clarify?

It should be known that the Dorm House cup is primarily for Black Thorn or Sineya.
The other awards are for any member of Buffy-Boards.com regardless of how long
they/ you/ me have been here, time has no bearing on if you win an award, getting
enough others to like you is all that is required.

Even if you don't win, go to the Buffies and have yourself a good time.

We do various competitions throughout the year and points are awarded to either Black Thorn or Sineya for these, and whichever dorm has the most points by the time of the Buffies gets the house cup. However the rest of it is for all members, some awards have staff exclusions, and you can't nominate a banned member, but other than that, you can nominate whomever you want.
