Welcome dear BBers, here is the latest hot issue of the BB Newsletter and all the goings on, so what's new around here? Keep on reading...

Are you new to BB and reading the newsletter for the very first time? If you are, its good to have you! This here newsletter is here to keep all of you informed about what's going on at BB with the board itself, as well as helping you get to know some of your new board mates!

If you enjoyed the read, which we know you will, then please pop on over to our Newsletter Feedback thread and tell us what you thought and see the Buffy Boards News Archive for all the past issues if you'd like to have a catch up!

New Members
On behalf of all our staff and members, we would like to extend another huge "˜Welcome!' to all those who have joined our community since our last issue. It's really great to have you and we're hope you're getting comfy settling in!

For those of you who may still be feeling a little overwhelmed, there a few things that can help you out. First, be sure to check out our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) which provides you with lots of information about our rules, as well as giving you a helping hand if you run into any problems.

After browsing through that, there are a few other useful stops you may wish to check out:

*Bad Eggs: We all need a little help from time to time, so who best to help you than your very own personal guide to BB? Get yourself adopted by an existing member and they will show you the ropes, answer any questions and generally take care of you as you settle in. Pop into the forum Bad Eggs and start a thread asking for someone to adopt you and someone will snap you up!

*The Sorting Tome: Pay a visit to the great and mysterious Sorting Tome and get sorted into one of our Dormitories! Once the Tome has posted of your fate, you will find yourself given access to a new part of the forum for you and your fellow dorm mates. It's a great way to meet members and get to know them in a smaller, cosier part of the board.

*Angel Investigations: If you still find yourself with unanswered questions after reading through the FAQ, then this is your next stop. Have a browse through the forum and see if other people have already asked your question and find your answer and if you still need to know something then start a thread in Angel Investigations and we will answer it ASAP.
Please also remember that we have a Confidential Member Concerns Area that you can post in if you would like to keep your enquiry private. Only you and the Board Staff will be able to view it.

Meet the Newbie: Introducing one of our latest Potentials

This is regularly the portion of the newsletter that feautres an interview with one of our potentials, but this month we are happy to pass you over to a not-so-new potential, the power that be if you will, some of you may already know her but I'm sure the rest of you will be thrilled to get more familiar with Faith...

1.Hey there Faith! You're not exactly new to BB but you may be a new face to some of our members so lets start with the basics - when did you join BB? And what were your first thoughts about it?
I first joined BB when it was in its first incarnation many moons ago, I want to say I was about 18/19 when I first joined so well over 10 years ago now. I had never really seen a forum like it before and just loved it,, I was never off the boards, and this was before the days of Smart Phones with internet access!

2. Where can you usually be found hanging out? (e.g which forum/s do you frequent most?)

Due to my staff role and offline life I don't really get a chance to post as much as I used to, I tend to hover around all the forums having a read and posting when I can.

3. Do you have a favourite character from the Buffyverse?

Lindsey McDonald has been my favourite since he first appeared. I was but a lowly Law Student when Angel first aired and everyone told me Lawyers were evil. At Wolfram & Hart they really were. Lorne and Doyle will always have a special place in my heart as well.

4. Have you watched both Angel and Buffy and if you have which do you prefer?

I've been doing a re-watch at the minute and I think i'm going to have to go with Angel, of course my mind does change from season to season. Can I pick Firefly?

5. Speaking of...If you could change one thing from any episode of BtVS what it would be?

I wouldn't change a thing. All the things that happened, even the flaws helped make the show what we all know, love and debate about on the boards.

6. So aside from television watching, what's an average day like in the life of Faith?

You really want to know? It is quite boring really I'm a very early riser so I tend to get up between 5 and 6am and do a bit of light exercise, then i'll have my ritual morning coffee while checking emails before heading to work. I work in litigation and try get away on time so I can either head to Kickboxing or my new regular habit of daily 4 mile runs. I'm studying for a specialist Paralegal qualification so I also try and squeeze in some study time on my lunch break and in the evening. Then comes the night time rounds of the internet (while catching up on tv) and reading. That is pretty much my Mon-Friday ritual with perhaps some baking thrown in as well. It has been a running joke between myself and Darla that if I am still awake at 10pm then it is a special occasion.

Thank you very much for a fabulous interview!

Episode discussions!
We know you have a topic you're just dying to get the people talking about. Don't miss the opportunity to lead a discussion here on the boards, go here to see what it's all about
I love 'em all. Most of the time.

And I've hated each and every one at one time or another.

I'm an equal love/hate fan.

I agree wholeheartedly :). I love each and every one of them. Okay...maybe I don't love Connor, but I understand why he was so...irritating, so it's easy to dismiss. All of the characters have faults. I used to love Willow. She was definitely my favorite character years ago, but I went through a period of time when everything she said got on my nerves. Now I kind of love her and I kind of find her annoying.

So basically...I love them all most of the time and I have hated them all at times. Except Fred ;) although I did find her annoying when she was first introduced. I actually thought, "How many seasons do we have to put up with this...?"[/quote]
