Question Spike's Mannequin

Hi everyone,

I am new here. And I have been re binging buffy for the 3rd time this year. And I noticed something that always bothered me.

When Spike is creating his mannequin with the blue top and blonde wig it didn't make me think of Buffy at all. To me it looks more like Harmony. Has that happened to anyone else? Do you think it was intentional?

I think it might be more that Spike subconsciously chose to be with Harmony because she looked like Buffy. I agree that I don't recall ever seeing Buffy wear that blue top, and of course the mannequin's face looked nothing like Buffy, so it was a bit of a stretch. But that just makes it all the more pathetic that Spike was substituting it for Buffy.
