They're very cheesy, and Angel is no exception. But I liked em, they fit with the pure ridiculous tone of the 4th season.

Day 15: Favorite fight scene?
Does Angel in a tank top getting his ass kicked in The Ring count? I also like Faith and Angel in Five by Five and in Release, Angel and Connor in A New World, Angel and the gang vs. Illyria in Shells, etc. Most fight scenes don't really stand out. Oh, Hamilton and Angel in Not Fade Away are cool too.
Does Angel in a tank top getting his ass kicked in The Ring count? I will go for the Angelus VS. Faith fight scene that goes across the double header of Release and Orpheus. Just so much tension, full-on action and great drama. Also Angel fighting with himself (or Angel fighting with Angelus) in Orpheus is unique too.

Would it be a cheat to say most of them? Angel had so many recurring characters that could have been permanent fixtures. Just to name a few: Merle, Nabbit, Jhiera, even Boone.

Probably Merl. They sort of used him for the same part each time, but in his final episode you could see how he could be more interesting if given more episodes. There are recurring characters on Angel I don't like. Eve for one.

Sam Lawson. I really was intrigued by the 1 episode we got of him and I've been craving more, which is why I've both read and written him into a lot of fanfic stories 🙂

I'm repeating myself but I wanted so much more Anne Steele on my screen. She was such a great character.
After Anne, I'd nominate Gwen Raiden, she was fun and had great chemistry with Gunn and Angel. She would have made a great addition to the team.

Is a recurring character a character who's been in more than one episode? Anne and Gwen were in 3 episodes and they're both considered recurring characters by a few people here. So, I agree with the ones who suggested Anne, but also Willow (because later seasons Willow fits really well on AtS), Buffy (the timing had to be just right though), Hamilton (because he was amazing), Lilah (yes, more Lilah!) and Holland Manners (what a great character!).

Good point about Willow and she certainly made her mark in S4. Not sure about Holland. I liked the character but he would have taken more time away from Lilah if he had stayed longer.
