It took me a while to find a character that doesn't come from a novel (in which I prefer the movie version, like Elizabeth Bennet and Peeta Mellark) or that isn't based on a real person (from a biopic)... The only one I could come up with right now is Kat Stratford from 10 Things I Hate About You.
