Day 09: Best scene ever?

There are so many scenes that I adore!!! And honestly, I can't even remember them all, haha. My favorite scene is probably the last one of Not Fade Away.

But there's a really cool scene in Banshee that I love so much. It's Carrie Hopewell (the character) kicking an ex-friend/enemy's ass. It's epic, well choreographed, and surprisingly moving. Banshee has a knack for turning fight and sex scenes into cool character moments:

Also, this reminds me that I need to rewatch Banshee.

Day 7 - Least favourite episode of favourite show
Tough. There are a few contenders but probably I Robot, You Jane.

Day 8 - A show everyone should watch.
Isn't this just the same as day 2? My answer remains the same. Good quality news.

Day 9 - Best scene ever.
No weapons, no friends, no hope. Take all that away and what's left?
Me.

Day 9: Best scene ever
Considering how much tv I watch, this question is kind of overwhelming lol... There are a lot of dramatic scenes I'd like to choose but I'll never forget how much this scene from The Office made me laugh upon first viewing:

This is my favorite scene from the show!!

Love that scene!
Day 9: best scene ever: without a doubt for me the best expression of grief in ANY medium ever - Anya in The Body. It is far and away the most visceral experience of the complete and utter confusion one feels when one loses someone... It put me back in the moment and even the several days after I lost my life partner in a way nothing else ever has. Not tears, not over the top 'acting'. Nothing. It was utterly, completely real. I have to prepare myself to watch it.

Day 9; Best scene ever?

Talk about impossible. So many scenes are rolling through my head and it's really hard to pick just one! Argh!

(My choice might change tomorrow, keep that in mind)

Day 09 : Best scene ever
@DeepBlueJoy beat me to the first one that comes to mind: Anya in The Body. So I'm gonna say Buffy discovering her mom in The Body 😛

That whole episode is amazing. Rough to watch if you've ever had real grief in your life, but that is what makes it so affecting. It is utterly emotionally real. That is so much harder than fake drama!
Day 8 - A show everyone should watch

The Good Place!! It's smart and different and I'm always surprised and entertained when I'm watching it.

Day 9 - Best scene ever

I decided to pick something that wasn't from the buffyverse so I went with this iconic speech from Jeff in Paradigms of Human Memory :

I love the way it parodies both flashback montages and grand speeches. And it manages to warm my heart as well.

Love your choices! "It's a locomotive that runs on us!"

I just re-watched Community. We got our six seasons, but I am impatiently waiting on the movie!

Yes more votes for The Good Place!
Day 9: Best Scene
Hard to choose. Can’t remember most of them, but the one that stands out for me at the moment is Oz showing up near the end of the Angel episode In The Dark. That was a badass scene.

Day 9 - Best scene ever
I love all the scenes in the Buffyverse! Sad, funny,

heart warming, really heart breaking, scary, clasic and just all tge otgers because they're all special, stunning, great and just awesome, all in their own unice way.
My favourite scene.... It changes sometimes from second to another second. It's always the Buffyverse scene I just watched/am watching. Mostly scenes about the ships I love, because that's when I get really emotional. But also others. Just watched family (for what? Like the 500th time?!? 😂) and OH MY GOD I cried soooo hard, when the scene came "We're family."
Tara: I didn't want you to see... what I am.
Willow: Tara, what?
Buffy: What do you mean, what you are?
Mr. Maclay: Demon. The women in our family... have demon in them. Her mother had it. That's where the magic comes from. We came to take her home before... well, before things like... this started happening.
Giles: You cast a spell on us, to keep us from seeing your... demon side. That's why we couldn't see our attackers.
Buffy: Nearly got us killed.
Willow: Tara... look at me. I, I trusted you more than anyone in my life. Was all that just a lie?
Tara: No!
Willow: Well, do you wanna leave?
Mr. Maclay: It's not your decision, young lady.
Willow: I know that! Do you wanna leave?
Mr. Maclay: You're going to do what's right, Tara. Now, I'm taking you out of here before somebody does get killed. The girl belongs with her family. I hope that's clear to the rest of you.
Buffy: It is. You want her, Mr. Maclay? You can go ahead and take her. You just gotta go through me.
Mr. Maclay: What?
Buffy: You heard me. You wanna take Tara out of here against her will? You gotta come through me.
Dawn: And me!
Mr. Maclay: Is this a joke? I'm not gonna be threatened by two little girls.
Dawn: You don't wanna mess with us.
Buffy: She's a hair-puller.
Giles: And... you're not just dealing with, uh, two little girls.
Xander: You're dealing with all of us.
Spike: 'Cept me.
Xander: 'Cept Spike.
Spike: I don't care what happens.
Mr. Maclay: This is insane. You people have no right to interfere with Tara's affairs. We... are her blood kin! Who the hell are you?
Buffy: We're family.
[...]
Cousin Beth: Are you happy now?
Tara:

I cried during that scene (happy tears obvioulsy)... But there are so many other scenees I love like the one in Fredless where Fred and Wes hug (a bit awkardly) I just LOOOOOOOOOVE that scene sooo much!!! It's so small, but to me it means a lot! (that's one of the things that is so great about the Buffyverse Imo, it canbe like the smallest thing that means the most to us.) Because it's exactly the way I hug my crush. And (to me) that means there was something between them from the beginning. (Please, I don't wanna start a debate about that. It's just the way I see it when I watch that scene.)

(second 2:22-2:30 in the video is the soooooooooooo cuuuuuute hug)
Love them so much! ❤♥️❤
And as I said it changes so much an so fast. There are so many other's I'd have to list, actually it would have to be over 164 hours of TV to list. (the whole Buffyverse) Can I pick one second per minute of every Buffyverse minute of every scene/episode? Because then it'd be hard, but not as impossible as this question is to answer.
Gonna link videos with scenes I love:

POWERFUL:
Well... there's a whole thread about powerful lines which is really awesime so... just go and check that out.
And cute scenes and relatable scenes and just THE BUFFYVERSE IS AWESOME!!!
I Love so soo sooooo many more!!! So I have to stop I guess....
Just gonna repeat myself...
Not a single thing (/scene/episode/etc) in the Buffyverse that isn't great or that I don't like...

Love everything (/every scene)!!!!! ❤❤❤

LOL I love that first one of Spike & Buffy

Longmire

Day 10; A show you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving?

Supernatural. I fought it for 12 years and finally, I rolled my eyes and decided to just make my friend happy so she'd stop bugging me about it. Wow, yeah, I did not see that one coming 🙄

Ok, I'm a little behind...
Day 7: Least favourite episode of your favourite show
Third-Day Story - West Wing

Halt & Catch Fire - lots of shows I could mention, but this series was criminally under viewed.

Well love would be a stretch, more of a guilty pleasure kind of show: Wynonna Earp
1st watched the pilot a few years ago. Didn't care for it. Last year or so been bombarded with people telling me I should watch cause of WayHaught.

Woooot Wynonna! I need to see s3!
Day 09 : Best scene ever
Buffyverse - Becomming. Angel has Buffy at the tip of his sword. Asking "whats left" and we all know and love the rest.

Day 10: A show you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving

Teen wolf. Like @HowiMetdaSlayer I saw s1 years ago and wrote it off. Next time I started at s3 and was loving it.

For Buffy, I actually had to be convinced over several months by a friend's girlfriend who kept saying it was her favourite series ever. She studied cinema so I eventually listened to her advice and tada here I am :$
For Supernatural it was more of the same story but it took less time because I had already started watching/loving BtVS. Same thing happened for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend now that I think about it... From now on, I should probably only watch things I don't think I'll like.

Day 11: A show that disappointed you

1Hft.gif

I have been disappointed by many a show but if I had to choose just one, I would probably nominate Once Upon A Time, which killed off a pivotal character whom I adored in order to force a creepy and stalkery ship, a ship which then basically decimated the female lead and reduced her to a shell of her former self, not to mention the complete lack of direction, the many plot holes, the repetitive story arcs and the "redemption" of a mass murderer and rapist, which made no sense and had no real effort put behind it.

Yikes, can you tell I'm still really bitter about this?
