I can't look at him without squeeing.

Technically he started out as a bad guy though. Do you think he redeems himself of his life of geek trio crime?

He was never truly bad, imho. He's just too impressionable for his own good, and wanted to fit in with a gang. Warren saw this weakness and manipulated him. But... I forgive him anyway. I can't easily explain why.

I'm not much of a fan, but I'd at least leave his hot pockets alone (though I'm sure he'd find something else to whine about even if everyone did). That said, I might require him to wear a "guestage" uniform as an alternative to not being tied up, which would be a medieval jester outfit. While admittedly cruel, it would seem to me to remind people not to expect anything better from him and thus make him less annoying. When he whined about it, I'd tell him, "Redemption is hard." 😛

His evilness was only because of his crush on Warren, so I don't blame him. He was comparing Warren to villains from movies he admired. Therefore I enjoy Andrew in season 7 because I never really disliked him. And he has some of my favorite quotes. I love the episode Storyteller and anytime he tries to compare something to a movie.

He should have gotten the kind of love Angelus has for puppies. Nailed to the door...

He's an utterly amoral criminal and murderer who aligns himself with whoever is stupid enough to let him join. Whether that's good or evil people. IMO he needs the kind of love a nice prison inmate could give him. Because that's where he belongs.

I didn't mind Andrew in Season 6 as part of the trio, his crush on Warren was so obvious, and the 3 actors work well together and have chemistry. However, outside the trio, Andrew is annoying. He has no reason to be hanging around the scoobies, he doesn't know them outside of the trio's shenanigans. Jonathan would've been more realistic to have in Season 7 since he knew the scoobies before the trio.

Damn, you guys are just mean... But I understand why you don't understand. He is an acquired taste. I wouldn't expect ordinary people to appreciate him. 😛

Since the point of this thread is to be positive, I'll try to be positive. I think Andrew can be quite funny. Mostly, I love Tom Lenk and thing he's amazing at comedy so he manages to make Andrew likable at times. The character isn't written in a likable way and has some serious issues (Andrew is self entitled, irresponsible, selfish and cruel), but he does have some good moments. He's funny in season 7, with Spike and Xander, and during Storyteller. He also redeems himself a bit in the end.

This is the best I can do. You keep on loving him though. Spike is beloved and he's much worse than Andrew so no one can judge you 😛

Andrew is one the only enjoyable moments of season 7 for me. If I ignore his past completely and don't dwell on what a completely evil and amoral person he actually is, I like him.

I love Storyteller, and I love just how funny he is. Honestly I think Tom Lenk saved the Character I also love when he shows up in the episode Damage on Angel and he's so thrilled to see Spike 🙂

Yeah... Spike is a worse killer than him by a way lot. 😉

As for Andrew, I generally view his irresponsible behavior as naive immaturity. He doesn't realize the gravity of his actions and is oblivious to the seriousness of most situations. I can relate to him a bit (I've often been accused of being an immature little freak) and also feel protective and maternal towards him.

He is so vulnerable and child-like at times I just want to hug him and keep him safe.

At least Andrew had consistency to his character in season 7, which I can't say for the others. I can completely understand the hate people have for the character. I find him funny and a bit of levity in an otherwise plodding season. Tom Lenk is immensely likeable too, so that helps.

(I probably shouldn't tell you this, but this idea quickens me... erotic roleplay, perhaps? Oh my. "Andrew, you've been a very naughty boy..." *cracks whip*)

Why? Justify yourself. Anya spent a thousand years torturing and murdering, is incredibly shallow, rude and lacking in tact, grace and charm.

To be fair, Anya also spent 4 years working besides the scoobies when she didn't have too. She was willing to give her life for Xander in the season 5 finale, she tried to help save Willow in season 6, and she was willing to sacrifice herself to take back her vengeance in season 7. I have never been a huge Anya supporter, but she at least had the self awareness to realize what she did was wrong, and eventually tried to be a better human. Her staying to fight the first in Chosen for the only benefit of doing the right thing is HUGE character growth from when we met her in season 3.

What's with the Anya hate? If anything she was the kindest to your precious Andrew. Also if we judged everyone who murdered and tortured people in the past then almost nobody would have a favorite character. And don't say she is lacking in charm please. She has charm. And finesse. It comes out of her bottom.
