Anyone think cordillia is a bit like Blair from gossip girl no spoilers as on season 3 of buffy

I haven't seen Gossip Girl in a throughly fashion, so I don't know about the character, but in terms of fashion, hell yes, both are iconic fashion divas. 🤩

Oh they are both also like half mean and half a bully at times but can also be super nice etc

I think you are meaning to ask if Blair is like Cordelia, considering Blair was written (even in the books) long after Cordelia from Buffy. 😉

But to answer your question, yes, the two do have similar vibes. Both use cattiness to hide their insecurities, but showcase a compassionate heart at times.

Have you read the books and what cattiness mean

I’ve stayed away from the books because the series is so different from them. Cattiness is like mean girl personality.

And actually they are both like others. The rich, snooty school girl was not a new thing when Buffy came out. And if it isn't a rich snooty school girl it's a rich snooty adult.

Punky Brewster had Margaux Kramer.
All three Heathers in Heathers.
Odds are good at least one girl meets this definition in most horror movies: Melissa from Friday the 13th part 7 for example.
Draco Malfoy is a male version.
Veruca Salt in Charlie and theChocolate Factory.

I agree there are definitely archetypes when it comes to mean girls. And Cordy and Blair definitely fall heavily into that archetype. I think we see with both characters an arc that pushes those definitive boundaries and offers up more humanity than normal mean girl villains.

I haven't watched Gossip Girl in a while but I don't think they are alike at all. They are both mean girls but that's a common trope.

I don't know the character, but I can say that I associate Cordelia with Caroline Forbes from "The Vampire Diares" 🤗
