Hi all,

Simple, if you could remove 1 episode in the verse what would it be and why?

I choose A hole in the world so that Fred doesn't die. You could still have Illyria but maybe someone else like Eve so that she becomes interesting for once!

Your turn now!

Even tho the switch from Fred to Illyria was great for Amy as an actress and for "Fred" to fight in the finale, I would MUCH rather have had Eve get the axe and change into Illyria because she pretty much sucked. And Fred didn't deserve it.
Without a doubt, "Seeing Red." I can easily accept the fact that there had to be some super powerful catalyst to inspire Spike to actively seek out his soul, but I would have much more preferred something other than an attempt to rape Buffy. I have no doubt that having Spike earn a soul was the right next step in his growth as a person, and I'm sure that giving it to him as a curse would just be stealing a page out of Angel's play book.

My first thought was Lies My Parents Told Me because that episode pisses me off so much and makes everyone look bad but I'll go with Empty Places because I hate that this happened to begin with. It being so close to the finale and without the characters addressing it makes it worse.

no question seeing red that way my Favourite Buffy Character Tara would not be dead, still the one death that should not have happened it killed the Buffy the vampire slayer show.

Have to agree about Seeing Red, both for the scene that will not be spoken of, but also for the death of Tara 🙁

The Girl In Question
What purpose did this episode serve? We already knew both Spike & Angel were still hung up on Buffy. I didn't need to see them making fools of themselves over it. Especially Angel, come on he is better than that. This was such a petty Spike thing to do. I don't like seeing one of my fav strong characters stooping to Spike's petty obsessive level.

I agree, I hate this episode!

Apart from the insult to Spike I agree with this it's a really crappy episode.

Is he really though? He spent s4 in a love triangle with his son & granddaughter.
S1 of Angel had some weak episodes, but Sense and Sensitivity truly is the worst.

I kinda agree with you, but Angel's jealousy has a lot of precedence. Before the Immortal there was Owen, Ford, Riley, Groo, Connor and Spike.

Agreed! But he never behaved like such a man child. Most of his jealousies were conveyed through facial expression or very calm utterances like in Pangs when he sees Buffy with Riley and he asks Willow "Who is that?"

...except when he beat up Riley in a fight he did nothing to avoid.

The Girl in Question is a farce, so everyone is acting farcical. Even Spike is sillier than usual. There are many other episodes were the genre or the overarching theme of the episode influences how the characters act.

Riley did start it, to be fair haha.

Yeah, I get what the writers were trying to do. But it just came off as two grown man whining the entire episode. I just didn't care for it.

That is actually why I love the season. There are too many TV shows about "grown [men] whining," but for some reason, those stories are often compelling.
I wouldn't really remove an episode, because they're all so great in so many different ways. I love all the episodes (BTVS 144 ATS 110) and they all together (imo) creat the two best shows of all time!!! But still there are some things that I wish wouldn't have happened.

Seeing Red: The worst things that could happen to two of my favourite ships, did happen in this episode. (Spuffy and Tillow)

A Hole In The World: My favourite character on this show just dies!!! And my favourite couple on this show is destroyed! Although the death of Fred created another favourite character of mine. (I ❤ Illyria)

This would be perfect!!! Or, just so Illyria is still played by such a gorgeouse actress, she could be a doppelganger of Fred. 😉 Like... Vamp Willow. Not that she comes from an alternate demension, but that she's an old one who appears as Fred. (I know, I already mentioned this thought a few times, so I'm sorry if it's boring. I just like this idea. I hope you're not all like: "Gosh @Willow Tara we've heard your idea, it's lame, get over it! Stop mentioning it all the time!!!" 🙄😡
I'm sorry. 😳)

I know those are two episodes, but I just want TARA and FRED back!!!! (and if possible, keep Illyria)

Hahah do keep mentioning it all the time!
It would be: The Girl in Question - I think it was a BIG kindergarten!

Angel totally jealous, if you think on it: Angel just lost his Cordelia - his best friend and also the woman he loved. And he was with Nina at the time being ( which I didn't enjoy at all - the relationship that I like the least) - and then Angel as well as Spike behaved like fools - even trought they are way older than a century!

I have a few episodes that I would change - but that's the episode I came up with spontaneously.

Normal Again

It felt like I should be in a mental ward for spending so much time on a show where the fantastic is normal only to have it ripped apart. I know the story was about the blood of a demon causing the extended hallucination but it ruined the story for me.

Dishonourable mention to Ted

Domestic abuse is not entertainment.

Empty Places. Biggest number of character assassinations in the history of TV.

I need to rewatch season 7 (or do I?) because I forgot about this one. Good choice.

Maybe the purpose of that episode is for Spike & Angel to move on or accept that Buffy who go out with The Immortal, love them but has to live her life. I think that because of the conversation between Andrew, Angel & Spike about Buffy, it is the end of ATS so the writers wanted to give fans some closure. I think.

- She
It is one of the most boring episode ever for me in ATS or BTVS

But also maybe : Teacher's Pet or WTWTA
And I just would like to remove two scenes in Seeing Red (AR) and Dead Things (the balcony scene) not the entire episodes.

She is the only episode I skip in the verse!
