Name a tv show you would NEVER watch again. Not ever.

90210 (the reboot) - I started rewatching recently (damn nostalgia!) and stopped in the middle of s1 and I honestly don't know how I watched 5 seasons of this when I was in middle school

Oh I forgot this one! I actually started it twice and stop at the same time both times. Even I couldn't get throught all the drama!

Bitten - Terrible schlock this, inconsistent plots, incoherent mythology, boring on the whole.

Big Bang Theory - Mean joke after mean joke meant to get the audience to laugh at the nerds and treat them as abnormal; with shallow motivations and a complete lack of humanity/decency towards it's lead women. Objectification levels unacceptable, and lack of any self awareness as some how adorable. Terrible treatment for People of color across the board. (racism played for laughs, ignorance as a punchline)

Timeless - Boring Dr Who/Seven Days/Ministry of Time, clone done for more money but with less creativity, zero charisma, and no sense of wonder. No originality, glossing over of actual historical events and zero believable characters

Being Human UK (after Season 2) - Started terrifically, then nosedived, consistently grinding it's premise to ash with inverted story telling and pointlessness. Complete jump the shark moment at the beginning of Season 4, ruining the entire series as leading up to a crap chosen one trope that doesn't go any where. This one makes me physically angry as it's premise is great, but the writers didn't know what to do with it after a few seasons.

If you love it, I can understand. My opinions are just that, and in no way do I think your's aren't valid.

But to me the first seasons we're great, but then as it dived into werewolf vs Vamp lines it became far less interesting. Then in the third season, the loss of the original actors and characters began to erode the underlying story, which was originally about these specific supernatural beings trying to be 'normal', and what that actually means. By Season 3 the story became about beating the 'bad guys' in the vain of Buffy and Angel, which the show was unable to fully transition into. Series 4 jettisoned any resemblance to the original conceit of the show, and added mediocre actors... while the writing continued to be subpar.

I will also never forgive the writers and show runners for killing Nina off screen.

I think the original season was almost perfect, but it's almost ruined for me on a re-watch because I know the terribleness that eventually happens. Also 'save the werewolf baby save the world' was the literally worst.

In short I still love the idea of Being Human, and I enjoy the US series almost as much, but the shows later seasons are just a bridge too far for me.

Seriously, a show about intelligent people should not need the laugh track, almost as shrill as the track from "Everybody Loves Raymond", the worst comedy presently on the air. We know if something is funny - you don't have to beat us over the head with it. Unfortunately, not much is funny. The idea that if you are in the sciences, you are socially inept needs to die right now. The meanness and cruelty in the writing is over the top.

MASH I'd literally rather be in war/combat than watch this show again.
Friends I hate this show with a passion and I've never even seen a full episode. All the characters seem so annoying. And the cast is so white & generic. I still love Lisa Kudrow though.

Greys Anatomy okay enough is enough, how many f*cking seasons are you going to drag this out for? I remember my cousin was all into it in 2005 and is it still on the air, 13 years later? I can't.
Dawson's Creek as bad as a soap opera to me.

Reign- It was just so wildly inaccurate in regards to history that I just gave up in the middle of s3. Honestly, I can't believe it took me that long lol.

Charmed- I couldn't even make it past episode 8 of the first season. I thought it was going to be more like BtVS, but it was just so cheesy and the plot just felt like it was going nowhere. I was really disappointed.

Roswell- I had such high hopes for this show. It had a really interesting premise. The characters were likable and root- worthy in s1. But then it just got so far off to the point I felt like I was watching a completely show with completely different characters. What a waste on what could have been a pretty good show.

Sad, because I really need stuff to make me laugh, but most comedies on in the last 20 years annoy me... I want to watch people I LIKE. I want to relate to the people, not watch caricatures of people who are 'different' - BBT or just a bunch of selfish creeps - Seinfeld. Seinfeld seemed to be the ascendency of this comedy direction. Mean. Venal.

Where is old fashioned comedy based on human nature... not just human nastiness... unless that's our nature now?

I watched the Simpsons for years, and still watch it occasionally (it was on reruns at the dinner hour for a long time and for me that was the best time to watch. I really should set up taping so i can watch it then again) , but I can't watch more than a few episodes of any of the collection of stuff that came after - Family Guy is odious and makes me cringe, though there are a handful of episodes that I liked (I think one with Adam West). For a while I liked King of the Hill, but even that... well, it became kind of preachy, shark jumpy and also disrespectful of the characters it claimed to love.

A show can be farce without the characters being completely farcical and vacuous.

Most of the shows on TV I won't watch are comedy. I am restricted to funny dramas (Buffy has me spoiled) where the characters are developed and relatable. I wanted to watch AH's 'new' show when it came on, but I just... could not. I must have seen a grand total of about one episode (in bits of episodes I managed to catch when I couldn't avoid them)

Lost. Someone who loved the show told me to watch it all the way through, and that it was worth seeing the whole lot. I watched the pilot and despised it.

I stuck with it though, and I can say I will never watch a single episode again. A massive waste of my time, went absolutely nowhere, and just served as an example of terrible storytelling and hollow characters. More effort was put into advertising the show than making it anything close to cohesive.

I started watching this, but got lost in the labyrinthine chaoseses... and then I came back near the end, and it had jumped the shark a few more times and it made zero sense. So glad I didn't continue following it. The whole premise leaves me cold... assuming I actually understand the premise. :-( A world of no!) Lost, lost me.

Yeah Charmed and Buffy are different. Many people compare them just because it was aired at the same time, 1997 for Buffy, 1998 Charmed. But in the tone the series are different, Charmed is more cheesy and BTVS more dark. Depends on what you like you will prefer one or the other.

I’m glad that I watched Lost as well. It just isn’t a show I would ever want to rewatch. There were too many characters and mysteries along with way too many episodes made.

Or what about The Office or Parks & Rec? A bit more of exaggerations of real-life people, but still believable and comical.

I saw That 70s show once while on the road. It was in a motel room. I found it incredibly unfunny. Someone tried to convince me to give it another try and I saw a few clips on YT, but I didn't change my mind.

Yeah, I get that. A lot of people can't get past the laugh track. I totally understand that.
I can pretty much tune it out at this point because I have been watching Friends, since I was born lol.
So the laugh track doesn't bother me, I laugh when I find something funny which is sometimes when there is no laughter to tell me to do so and sometimes I don't laugh when the laugh track is going on in the background.

I liked Friends a lot. I've seen some of the episodes multiple times. I liked the seventies show until certain people left and I felt it spoiled the show... but I didn't find either of them mean. The Office never appealed to me in the stuff I saw on the previews, so I never watched it. I never watched Parks and rec, and I don't know enough about it to comment.
