Seen as we have a few new members I was wondering if anyone fancies showing off some of you photography?
Got any pictures you have taken that you really love and/or are proud of?
It doesn't matter if you have a fancy camera or a phone, doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a professional.

What ya got?

I am so proud of my photos I'm not letting you see them, (tee hee) That is mainly because I don't know how to post my photographs.
You say its okay if I am a beginner or a professional. What if I'm a professional beginner? How does that grab ya? not painfully I hope.
I have a X2 and a X3 tele-converter to go with an old 500 mm lens, I've also got a 1200 mm lens that need a stand to hold the end steady, it even has its own name.
I am chuffed that my camera is regarded as a fancy camera, its not what I call it though!

So come on folk do as Nix orders (asks) show us how good you are (notice that did you, I asked how good you are, there, nice aren't I?)
please note that this is a family friendly site also that some of us are not of Sineya, us of Black Thorn laugh at the 'blue' piccies.

I used to do a lot of B&W photography and had a nice little darkroom where I did all my own prints. But then digital photography took over and eventually all the photo shops in town closed up. Between that and getting married again I had to give up some things when we merged our households and that was one of them. I do have a nice digital camera that my wife bought me and I prefer using it to one on my phone.

I have no idea what your photo is of as I do not have access to Instagram, any chance of you describing in detail what you posted. Pretend you are explaining what you did to a blind person. I'll take my glasses off if that helps!

Sorry! I'll try to post it otherwise.
I ran my own photography business as a "side hustle" for 15 years. Here are some of the photos I've taken. 🙂

So you're not just talented at wallpaper making, I see, Britt. Some really great photographs there. Do you use film or digital? Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I've always felt actual film was superior, though you can still get nice pictures with digital cameras.

And you're a published author. I can't speak to the content of those, but it's impressive regardless.

Thank you! I am a digital girl, although I used film for years. I love being able to edit my images in Photoshop!

Medical reasons... I can't handle the heat like I used to, and I don't want to take the chance of passing out during a session. :\

Aww, thank ya'll! I love photography so much, but I'm not as young as I used to be. Shooting sessions wears me out these days. I do still shoot for myself occasionally, though.

Thank you!

You're welcome, Britt. I only speak the truth. And as everyone else agrees with me, they must be telling the truth too. The math works out. 😉

That's fair. I just love the colors of film. Plus, I guess I'm a romantic at heart. I like the idea of payphones, developing film by hand, practical effects, and writing on typewriters.

I love photography so much

I actually thought about getting into photography when I was younger. My dad had a camera (a Nikon, though I couldn't say what kind), and I used to fool around with it a bit. I thought I had a pretty good eye, all things considered. I never really pursued it in any real way, distracted by my real passion, which I wanted to pursue since I was eight—writing.

I'm not as young as I used to be.

Who is? 😉
