The Invisible Man (2020) - 10/10
This was just so good. I spent the first hour super tense and short of breath, waiting for whenever something weird would happen, and the second hour wondering how in the world this was all going to resolve itself. The acting was top-notch, the writing brilliant (they rarely went where I expected them to) and it also reminded me of some of my favorite films I've seen over the years, but not in a stole-this-from-another-movie kind of way 🙂

Ooh I gotta see this!
Stronger (2017) 8/10

A really powerful, scary and beautiful film. Brilliant performances from Jake Gyllenhaal and Tatiana Maslany.

The Peanut Butter Falcon 8/10
Really cute and funny, something I could easily watch again. Le Beouf and Gottsagen are the real stars, as Dakota Johnson continues to underwhelm as an actress.

(Re-Watch) Scream (1996) - 8/10
Still an awesome film, but I've just seen it sooo many times that sitting through it feels like a chore. The only way I could get through it was to do stuff on the computer at the same time. This is what happens when you do one too many re-watches, lol. Decided that my favorite scene (and character) is Stu during the whole kitchen thing 😀

Slap her, she's french - 3/10

I needed a bad movie and this was perfect. I honestly would have forgiven this movie for all of its problems if the entire town blew up with everyone in it and was nothing but a giant crater.

Think I would watch this one just for the title!
Midnight Special (2016) - Nice little sci-fi with good performances throughout. Nothing new or exciting, but still enjoyable 6/10

(Re-Watch) Saved! (2004) - 10/10
It's still one of my favorite films, I just love the screenplay, the actors, and it even has a great soundtrack. This movie is also part of why I love Macauley Culkin and trust that he's gonna be a great addition to the new season of AHS, he is great here as Roland and my favorite character.

(Re-Watch) Scary Movie (2000) - 8/10
Just a perfect parody film and the second one is just as good. I hadn't seen it in years so I'd forgotten a lot of the smaller details, so this was a very enjoyable watch. There's a reason this is rated the same as the movie that inspired it 😀

Love the ending of the film.
Yesterday - 8/10

After a worldwide power outage that lasted 12 seconds. a musician crashes into a bus and wakes up in hospital to a world where no one ever heard of the Beatles. He starts playing Beatles songs as his own and soon gets all the fame that came with Beatlemania and has to consider either telling the truth about where his music came from or continuing as the best music composer in a different world and what to do about the girl he had known and friend-zoned for most of his life. (In this parallel universe, there was also no such thing as Coca-Cola or Harry Potter.)

IMDB rates this as 6.8 stars but movies about music always get better ratings from me.
