Why only 5? It should be top 10. I liked Ringer, and SMG was great. I pretty much have liked everything I've seen her in. I think she is always good, the movies maybe not so much (Scooby Doo). lol. I thought she was great in The Crazy Ones, I love when SMG does comedy, I think she's so funny! I'm excited to see her return Cruel Intentions again!

1. I ceratinly don't think she was the problem with Ringer. I think she wrestled the best she could with bad material.
2. Another vote for the Grudge. She was good, and as remakes go it was fine. The thing is it shares the flaws of the original film, which are that it lacks a proper story growth or build up of tension, outside of random setpieces.
3. I actually liked at least the first Scooby Doo film, sorry!😛
Really want to see the Crazy Ones just because I think she does comedy really well. Who knows maybe my Cagney and Lacy reboot project will save her career😉

I wish she would do more movies. She’s a really good actress, with a lot of range. I actually saw her in I Know What You Did Last Summer first. And then I saw her in Cruel Intentions, and Simply Irressitable. I didn’t even see her as Buffy until many years later, and even though she has a very distinctive face and voice, I felt like she was a totally different person. I think that’s always the hallmark of a good actor. The ability to give off the vibe that they are a different personality, even if there clothes, hair colour etc are the same in two different movies. And SMG has that talent.
I loved her in Cruel Intentions. She played evil SO well.

She was absolutely stunning with brown hair in cruel intentions. I saw cruel intentions around the same time as Buffy and it was refreshing to see her take on the bad girl role. She reminded me a lot of faith in that movie.
Scooby Doo is also to me one of her best roles she made me fall in love with the character Daphne and I only watched buffy because I saw the case and thought it was a Daphne series (I was young at the time). She plays the spunky humorous characters really well.

I could do a top 10 just using characters she's portrayed on BtVS. Buffy. Buffybot. The First Evil. Cave Slayer. Noblewoman. Faith-in-Buffy's-body. Love Spell Buffy. Paranoid Schizophrenic Alt World Buffy. Primeval joining spell Buffy.
I think Helen was the best thing about IKWYDLS. She was much more likable than Julie, her relationship with Barry was more believable and grew closer as the stalking progressed, waking up with her hair cut & tiara and the chase leading to her death are very memorable scenes in slasher history. "We used to be best friends" "We should have a plan. Angela Lansbury always had a plan" "Listen you little dipshit Mayberry ass reject, there's been a murder and you're gonna fry in Hell if you ignore it"
Simply Irresistible is underrated. It's the kind of movie that while not a box office success should've done great on tv or dvd and is easier viewing than most romantic comedies. The only thing I disliked was it wasn't vegetarian or vegan but that's because I haven't eaten meat in 15 years. I love all the relationships in it, that it had a big romance but they both had a best friend of the opposite sex that they had zero sexual feelings for. I would've watched a series about Amanda and that department store.
I think a lot more people would've been obsessed with Possession if the director and marketing knew whether they were making a twisted love story or a thriller. Lee Pace was amazing and had chemistry with SMG but I think maybe he didn't have the right fanbase for this movie because if someone like David Boreanaz or James Marsters portrayed Roman we'd never hear the end of it or their love for Jessica.
Sorrow in The Air I Breathe. A depressed alcoholic pop star gets humiliated in an interview and mentions she has a rare blood type and it's one of the things that makes her special then she falls in love with a psychic working for the mobsters who own her contract and is tied to a chair and gagged while forced to watch him beat to death and finds out she's pregnant and tries to commit suicide by jumping off a building only for the story to come full circle as a doctor who saw her interview saves her life so she can donate some of her rare blood to save the life of the woman he's in love with.

So I think it goes without saying that Buffy is SMG's best role, without a doubt, but I kinda like the fact that she tends to be picky as far as her roles. The Air I Breathe as a whole is underrated, IMO. I mean sure, it's a second rate Crash, but it had some interesting stuff going on. Plus, I feel that acting wise, Sarah's at the top of her game here. She gets the juiciest role in the movie, and she knocks it out of the park. The woman can cry like nobody's business, I'm telling you. Southland Tales is another underrated gem, although I completely understand why people don't like it. It doesn't make a lick of sense......the first 20 times you watch it. Then, if you give it another try, you might find that the movie has something to say about the state of a country in crisis, maybe it even foretold some current issues we're dealing with today. Just maybe. 😉 And remember, kids:

Lol I have SMG's /Krysta Now's song "Teen Horniness is not a Crime" on my iPod. It's so bad, it's hilarious but I just love that SMG sang it. Southland Tales is one of the most interesting movies of SMG's career. It's so weird and funny and long and somewhat confusing but never boring.
Simply Irresistible is another one that is kind of bad but has a genuine sweetness to its atmosphere. I'd rather watch her in that than most of her other movies like Possession or The Return which felt really generic. The Grudge was okay for a horror movie but she didn't even have to bother being in The Grudge 2.
Also, I hate to say it but Veronica Decides to Die put me to sleep. I prefer SMG's bitchy acting and the over the top script/drama of Harvard Man or Cruel Intentions (obviously her best movie ever).
