I swear, Amazon made me jump through hoops to cancel my Kindle Unlimited subscription! 🤬 For some reason, you can't manage your account on the proper Kindle app (which is really odd). But after a lot of swearing and determination the mission was finally accomplished.

Amazon do not want it to be easy to cancel subscriptions, in the hope that people will just give up on trying.

Or like most of the bean counters, they hope you just forget you had it

Amazon UK are terrible at trying to get you to buy Prime by accident. I have to be really careful when checking out; there are several places where if you are not concentrating, you wind up with Prime. Which they did to me once. An accidental click to get; 30 minutes on the phone to cancel!

My 5 years old niece is obsessed with the old Barbie Girl song by Aqua 😂. I caught her several times singing with her 5 years old lovely girl voice "I'm a Barbie girl in a barbie wooooorlddddd.... plastic" 😆.

I've given up on post-holiday sales on candy. Either the store chucks it out at midnight and moves right on to the next holiday, or they offer it at 50% off the original price, but that's not even as good a deal as the sales were before the holiday. I'm not even sure what candied holiday comes after Easter, but they'll think of something!
Yeah. In my area almost everything was gone from the shelves yesterday evening. I went to the store about 9pm last night for a few things and there was maybe 1/2 shelf (individual shelf, not shelf set) that had stuff on it.

I'd noticed this last year as well. There was almost no leftover candy the day after Easter. I suspect most stores are choosing to minimize stock so they don't have left overs.

I have just eaten half a white chocolate Easter egg. Will the other half make it through until tomorrow?

The odd are not in its favour.

Morrisons still had Easter eggs, at half off. Now I have a fresh victim...
