In other news, one of the neighbours I'm friendly with gave me a call early this morning. He said that my sister's truck had its flood lights on, and they'd probably been on all night. Mind you, I'm still annoyed with her...but she really needed to know about the flood lights. Grrr. So I called her and the first thing out of her mouth was, "What the hell do you want?" I swear to God, I nearly hung up...but I told her about the lights being on. And that's my good deed for the day. 😋

They had a fair selection at mine. I bought a Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers egg. I guess shops that have nearly sold out were not reducing as much as those that still had dozens left.

I noticed that Amazon has a couple of sex toys with a 30 day return policy. What?! Who returns a used sex toy? Even worse, this means you could be buying something that was...um...already tried out by someone else. 😳

I sent in my tax return and got a whopping $30 from the feds.

Like I get that it’s a good thing to have as low of a refund as possible, since it means they’re taking what they should as opposed to more, but like come on, dude.

Update, now they’re pestering for last year’s AGI (adjusted gross income) as evidence that I did my tax return. But I don’t have it. So I have to fool around with their website, only for it to tell me I needed to do a video call so they could verify my identity. Promptly got pissed off at how overly complex this nonsense is for my $30 ****ing dollars from the feds and said I’ll do it tomorrow.

Maybe one day this government will stop being so obtuse and irritating. We can only hope.
