The Last Season?

I think having the Slayers lose their power could be interesting, and obviously it happens in the future, but I don't think it would work thematically. Taking power away from women doesn't seem like a direction the story go. Maybe it could be spun in a way to have Buffy feel the weight of the world is only on her shoulders again, but I don't know.
 
Yes, it 'works' in one aspect to return to the slayer line, but taking power away would be problematic to make 'right' to do. Not impossible necessarily, but a tough one to justify in verse. :s
 
I hope this won´t be the last season, until now S11 is the best for me. But i guess that if Joss is too busy with other projects he may take a break from the comics
 
If there are more comics, I hope they do a complete reboot of the show/comics. Keep the idea of a high school girl named Buffy who discovers it's her sacred duty to hunt vampires, start from scratch with everything else.

I really wouldn't want this. There are High School Buffy comics out there if peoople are looking for the high school experience. I have enjoyed most of the Buffy comics and Season 11 has been great, and I just want to see her story continue, not go backwards
 
I'll be really curious to see the solicits for August. That'll have issue #12 in it, it might clear up if it's a season or series finale.

The solicitations that come out and provide a brief synopsis for the issues with the cover art. Comic Book Resources I think are where they tend to be put online. They have been a bit better this year for not giving away too much of the plot, I think it was S9 when they gave far too much revealing info in them, but they do take away some surprises so are best avoided if you don't want any chance of gleaning spoilers.

The thing that I'm finding interesting on a related note is that the alternate cover for #10 still hasn't been released that I'm aware of, but both were included with the #11 solicit. Perhaps it is because it is Megan L and she is running behind, or perhaps that deleted scene is just too revealing.

The variant cover for #10 is out there, it's just Buffy helping a neighbor pick up some groceries.

Wasn't that the variant cover for #8 that was incorrectly attached to the #10 solicitation at first? On the Forbidden Planet site I order my issues from they are still showing the variant for #10 as image unavailable and have it marked as Megan Levens.
 
Oh, interesting. You're right. I'm looking at it through Diamond's site, and it's shown as the same variant cover from #8.

Could be, but maybe Diamond is just playing it safe and not trying to ruin a reveal like they did before with a cover *Twilight*
 
Exactly, which is why I keep checking now and then to see if it is showing as released yet. XD
