I have an annual tradition of going through Buffy and Angel (managed to since 2004 - although some years it occurred later). At the moment I'm in my 'watching the occasional random episode' stage.

If there's an episode that I don't really care about, I do something else while I watch it. But I do run through all of them.

My advice is start at the beginning and watch them through in order. If your not too patient with early so-so episodes, maybe start with Season 2.
