Does anyone happen to have any good Multi Chapter Xander/Buffy or Xander/Faith stories? I have been unable to find any.

I've always thought Xander would have been a great influence on Faith had they gone the relationship route.
There's one for Faith and Xander called 'False Smiles' on Fanfiction.net that I've read, it has quite a few chapters.

Not really...it's only running with the possibility of an AU that both the TV show and the comics raised. As someone who can't get out of the established pair - "we've been hitting you over the head with the inevitability of this for the last 5 years. Do we really need to spray paint it on the nearest wall for you to take it seriously? Buffy 💕 Spike. Chloe 💕 Lucifer" - box, I kinda admire people's inventiveness. Good luck to the ship and all who sail in it. 🙂

See below for answer to your question. Sorry for the reaction, but it is not rare bc so many such stories seem hostile both to Buffy and to woman power. TtH and AO3 would be my suggestions.

I personally dont like those two pairings much, particularly with Buffy. Buffy needed more than Xander had to give for the first 6 seasons. Maybe by season 7 when he had begun to grow up or after losing Anya. But, against it, from episode 3 of the series Buffy clearly views Xander as 'one of the girls' and nothing she ever did ever counternanded it. At least Xander and Faith had some spark, though after she tries to strangle him, i simply cannot see it.

I actually have an easier time seeing Xander with Angel. He behaves like a lot of Romcom heroines with his attitudes to Angel. That and Xander noticing men and admitting it out loud?

Note: You can find quite a few stories with Buffy or Faith paired with Xander on Twisting the hellmouth. Some of the stories are Super!Xander! Squashthewomanpower! stories, however. Caveat emptor.

Thank you for being polite about this. Most of the time, it ends up being a fight about how someone is wrong about who they are shipping. So it is nice to have someone basically say, “ I disagree, but I respect your opinion.” I will say that the reason I ship Xander and Buffy is because of the fact that to me it seemed that it was being hinted at for the first 2 seasons. I’ve watched the whole show and read the follow up comics, but to me, the first 2 seasons are my favorite. Hence why I ship them.
 
There are a couple authors I follow who can write really good fanfiction.
Shawn30 over on fanfiction.net has some really good fanfiction on the Buffy/Xander subject. Its not there but if you can find it his 'bad habits' is the best look at the Scoobies post season 7 for me. They are all pretty dark and damaged.
M.McGregor over on livejournal has written the mother of all Xander stories called 'I am what I am' set in season 2 with flash forwards to the future it nails the characters tone of the show and it frankly one of the best pieces of fanfiction. Plus he has a commentary on the story so you can see how he wrote it.
 
This is going to sound strange but I don’t think Xander had any great romantic spark age or chemistry with any of his leading ladies. He and Anya were funny together but despite the fact they were supposed to be at it like bunnies, it never transferred to the screen to me as a ‘hot’ couple. Similarly re Xander and Cordelia, I like the idea of a popular ‘it’ girl and the nerdy guy but again couldn’t see huge attraction or sparks. Willow and Xander I liked the possibility of the most but that’s only because I am a sucker for best friends to lovers trope.

I mostly agree. Maybe it was because most of his leading ladies did not see him that way and he wasnt emotionally fully present. You can be mess inside, if you are a truly great actor like Robin Williams, but even he began to lose his sparkle and magic near the end of his life when (we learned later, sadly) he was in terrible shape.

From what we have learned about NB, he probably has never been easy to work with day after day, though I can see him being initially funny. But he is no Robin Williams.

It is hard to "let go" with someone who is all emotional spikes and pitfalls - and so chemistry, especially as time went on, could be hard.

I love Xander, but Nick is someone I suspect would make me uncomfortable. Especially if he were touching me and interacting with me romantically.

I think he and Anya sold that discomfort perfectly in OMWF.
