I've rewatched Buffy abut 3 times straight through, and angel I've only seen once as I've just finished it up a few weeks ago. There are only a few tv shows that I can rewatch straight through, and books I can reread like One Tree Hill and Harry potter, so I'm just curious as to how many times you have rewatched Buffy and angel from start to finish🙂

All the way through, as in every episode? Once each. Individual seasons, several times.

I've seen both, through all seasons, twice. Like a year a part. I'm do for a Buffy rewatch. Of course I've seen Buffy s3 the most.

Well as Buffy is repeated daily on the SY FY channel I must have seen that dozens of times, but AtS not so much as It hasn't been screened on any channel for simply ages.

Probably rewatched all of Angel more than I have BtVS.

In saying that, I've rewatched BtVS, beginning til end, close to 10 times I'd say.

All the way through, I think I've done Buffy about twice and Angel about 5 times.

I find it easier watching Angel all the way through. With Buffy, I'll more often do season rewatches than full series ones.

Only recently saw Angel all the way through for the first time, and am now mid-way through a second watch. Because I don't know the episodes as well as I do with Buffy then I don't rewatch random episodes, but sure I will do soon.

Buffy all the way through would say 2-3 times and lots of random viewings.

Buffy six or seven times.
Angel two or three times.

I only watch it on proper re-watches though. Never watch random episodes here and there.

/SK

Buffy I'd say around 10x, give or take a few.

Angel I'd say only maybe 2-3x from beginning to end.

Me too. I'm weird when it comes to rewatching; watching only one episode or one season would make me feel all OCD and anxious. I see it as a sort of challenge to rewatch a whole show again from the beginning. Especially with BtVS, those first couple seasons can wear thin. Angel rewatches are more favourable for me.

There are shows I watch again and again over the years and Buffy and Angel are just two of them (The Wire, Oz, The Sopranos, Carnivale, Lost, Mad Men, Six Feet Under, Dexter, etc, etc..)

I watched Buffy when it originally aired and then it was on a local TV channel for about three complete cycles of all episodes which I watched then I watched it all the way through from the DVD set, including the commentary episodes.

I watched Angel when it originally aired then watched it on the DVD set, including the commentary episodes.

So I have watched Buffy five times and Angel twice.

Similar to me, that is why I still think DVD boxsets are still a great thing over just watching things online.

I think I prefer to watch stuff all the way through especially if there is a long story arc involved, but then I guess there are episodes of Buffy and Angel which work well as self-contained episodes. Guess I will aim to mostly watch one offs if its just a random episode here and there.
