SMG's appearance change from S1 to S2

I'm just watching the episode 'Go Fish' from Buffy, season two...

I can't help but notice how radically different Sarah looks in season two compared to how she appeared in season one.

Anyone else notice this?

I mean, its weird because I'm guessing it was just one year of ageing between the two seasons.

But, I mean if you compared a picture of her from say, 'Welcome to the Hellmouth' and a picture of her from say, 'Go Fish' the difference is quite startling.

I agree she looks different but I also think she looks pretty radically different from season 3 to 4 and season 4 to 5.

I *think* I remember SMG saying that she lost all her "baby fat" after filming I Know What You Did Last Summer because she changed her diet because there were so many fried foods on that set.

The shorter, blonder, hair also makes a big difference 🙂

Sarah was very young when Buffy started, so it should not be surprising that her appearance changes from year to year. I looked really baby faced at twenty, which is the year I was in the air force. I looked like Emil i Lönneberga in G.I. Joe drag, though to be truthful, I've been told I still kinda do.

Look how much Michelle Trachtenberg changes during her short stay on the show. Even during S5, she changes quite a lot. And Aly was 23 when she started, but it is only in S3/S4 that she starts looking her age.

Yes, I've noticed. I just wish that she kept her long hair in Season 1 longer because I loved her Season 1 hair, even though I didn't mind her hair in Season 2. They could've did a haircut on the 2nd half of Season 2 when she lost her virginity to Angel.
