THE NEVERS... Buffy Style!

I've still not seen The Nevers. You did a great job with the credits. It made me want to watch the show more than any of the TV spots. From those clips it reminds me of Doctor Who, every time that show did Victorian era London, with a mix of Penny Dreadful and Sherlock Holmes. With steampunk elements. So, maybe I should check this show out.

Here's what I'll say about The Nevers: The characters are good, the aesthetic is awesome. The writing can drag on but when they hit a Buffy-esque quip or a joke, it's great. But it is too complicated for its own good. The episodes are too long, there's too many characters and too many plot twists. Still, I enjoy it just for the cool powers and the great characters and the feminine badassery and I would recommend any Buffy fans to check it out!

To be fair too many characters is a common problem with Whedon's work. It also affected Buffy and Angel at times too.
