Wouldn't it have been nice if Xander appeared on Angel?

but didn't Xander Harris have a car during seasons 4-5 of Buffy? (in the S3 episode "The Zeppo" he had Uncle Rory's car loaned to him) If he did then he would've driven to LA to make some guest appearances on "Angel" (despite his previous aminosity to Angel and Wesley) before heading back to Sunnydale (LA is just 200 miles away from Sunnydale).

Yeah that's interesting because it's only the Zeppo I remember seeing Xander drive. Maybe he had a driving permit but hardly ever used it. It could have just been him looking to impress in the Zeppo.

well the conversation between Xander and Cordelia is one of the missed opportunites in those Buffy-Angel crossovers (by season six, they were prohibited when Buffy switched networks and we started seeing less of them, unless they occurred off-screen).
 
I don't think the Xander-Cordy relationship needed any closing, the way its being discussed here. It was a typical high school relationship; those types of things never last, and people grow out of their high school experiences quickly. To speak of myself, I don't feel a need to go back to high school of all things and find "closure" because what I was back then I grew out of and left behind a long time ago, which I think is typical of most people's life experience. High school relationships are usually nothing worth dwelling on when viewed with distance and posterity, and Xander and Cordy are no different in that respect. There is nothing back there that needs tying up for either character. Also, Cordy especially moved on and far past it by the time any crossover into Angel would have made sense. Cordy didn't need closure at all; in fact, she left him behind with all of the rest of her high school companions and memories.

yes to at least see Cordy one more time would of had to be in season 4 of buffy season 1 of Angel esp after what xander did for her at Graduation.
