My thoughts exactly. I didn't care for the Entertainment Documentary format, as it's been done so many times before and it was a lot of the same old, same old. So in that sense it felt like the show wasn't really made with the fans in mind, but more of the general viewer. It especially bugged me how the EW crew kept commentating/summarizing on things that we already know.
So like you I would have prefered more of a panel discussion type of show where we'd seen the cast interact more with each other.
Still it's amazing to see them all together again. 🙂
Yesterday I was feeling very tired and having a cold. So I felt like crashing in the TV sofa, not really having much energy. Then I found this teaser clip of the cast together again and after watching that I was feeling excited and happy. It was like I got all my energy back. I think it's amazing what a powerful thing fandom can be and I honestly didn't know that Buffy could still make me feel like that.
Yeah Agreed, it was the same old, same old. Especially with how many times they kept talking the same things.
Too bad Buffy isn't at comic con this year for a really proper panel to talk. I know X-Files did in 2013 for its 20th anniversary I think or did a convention reunion.
I agree, it brought back so many memories and made me smile. Buffy always does that for me, and so glad how strong the fandom is, and how much merchandise still gets made years after it ended.
