No, the Surprise one where they're just going at it repeatedly is one of the best (also, nice understated innuendo with the "hard"!). DB also just looks glorious in that white undershirt. It's got a ton of passion, a glorious lack of restraint and not awkward at all (huh?). I also ADORE all the kisses in Bad Eggs (the window is one of the most sweet and adorable--and one of the smiliest), but especially the one that comes after the can't-have-kids talk and the "In loving memory" tombstone. That scene just has a lot of important things going on, in general, plus huge doses of foreshadowing. These episodes are also a bit more sexually-charged, but in a less 'we need to stop' way, given what they're leading up to.
But my favorites are at the end of Surprise on the bed (best closeup and I love watching the angling of noses and tender lip movements--there's a bit of tongue if you watch closely--DB snuck in his tongue both here and in the first kiss), the game face kiss at the ice rink (I completely adore that she kissed him in game face, find it an incredible show of her love with his constant fear of rejection and this might make it my favorite) in What's My Line? and the oh-so-sad kissing in Becoming, pt. 2. I'm an angst girl and these push all the right buttons for my little, Angel-loving, black heart.
The most 'meh' is probably... The End of Days/Chosen. It's the most alive SMG has looked in ages, but it pales. The best part of the scene isn't the kiss, but the basking with smiles. It's also heavily from a back shot where you can't even see the actors. And then there's Spike, the First and jealous pettiness. Blah. I actually love the scene, but the rest just all were better. Forever is sweet and comforting, but it's kissing at a weird body angle. SMG is usually pretty handsy with the back of DB's hair and shoulders, so this is one of her less exploratory makeout sessions.
Season 3 has a lot of delicious sexual tension (seeing how easily DB catches SMG when she jumps up on him with her legs wrapped always gives me the warm fuzzies--and they do it twice!), but the Sun Cinema kiss is actually one of the lesser kisses. For a kiss Faith thought was "lust bunnies", that's one of the more understated. The Amends dream sequence is one of the hotter ones and I love the shot of Angel's hands on Buffy's back (I love how big his hands are compared to her tinyness). Given that SMG had a no-nudity clause, this was actually as uncovered as she ever got (people would hardly guess it would be a Bangel scene where she showed the most skin!). Funny story, but SMG sewed the button holes so DB would have to struggle to open up her pajama top!
As for my favorite non-lips kiss... The shoulder kiss in Becoming, pt. 2. I like angst. DB just has a really sweet, sad, teary face in that moment that I love in that moment. Though the forehead kiss with her in bed in Earshot is just the sweetest thing, too.
