Hi everyone!

Not too sure what to say in introductions, but I really love what I'm seeing on the boards and the conversations that take place. Buffy is so close to my heart and I don't have a ton of people in my life that share the same passion.

I'm a longtime Buffy fan (27 now and been watching since around middle school). I walked into the living room where my brother was watching "Hush" and I've been hooked ever since. I guess that's a pretty good episode to start, right?

I somehow went my entire Buffy-watching life without having seen Angel all the way through, and picked up the DVD's last year so I could watch them all the way through. While I prefer Buffy, I like Angel as well, especially when the two shows parallel and expand on each other.

Outside of watching the show, I read the comics and have an ever-expanding Buffy collection that is starting to overflow off my shelf! I'm so proud!

What's your favorite season? Are you a shipper? Who's your favorite character (other than Buffy, lol)?
 
Welcome to the boards! There are many opinions on various subjects and it all gets discussed civilly (for the most part) and there are a number of people here with interesting insight.

Hello!!

My favorite season is a tie between 3 and 5-I can never really decide.

I do ship Spuffy, but not for the whole run of the show. I'm kind of weird in the sense that I actually find all 3 of Buffy's main relationships to have fit for the time they were on the show, and ended at the right times. Like I really love the Bangel episodes, and even a handful of Riley episodes. But I love Spike as a character and I found his relationship with Buffy to be pretty interesting later on, even though it was unhealthy. Eventually, though, I think Spike with a soul is a good match for her.

Favorite character other than Buffy is probably Spike, followed by Giles and Willow!

Thanks! The Prom is my absolute favorite episode of Buffy. It just fills me with all the good Buffy emotions 😀
 
Welcome! Great list of favorite characters, mine is identical.😉 It's nice that you appreciate each relationship for what it is. And I also love the Prom, but, as a Spuffy,

Welcome to the boards. I love the episode Prom as well. A beautiful moment. Fun fact, it is one of SMG's favorite episodes so we are in great company.
